Advocacy:

• Evaluation of needs for optimal independence and level of care needed
• Assistance with scheduling and managing medical appointments
• Guidance with in-home care options such as choosing a home health provider or caregiving agency should needs arise for therapy or additional assistance beyond what Advocacy Angels provides.
• Tailored navigation of resources to meet your specific needs
• Transportation to essential appointments
• Streamline communication and coordination between patient and providers
• Simplify medical concepts and instructions for patients
• Communicate with your healthcare providers to help clarify information, ask questions, and ensure you fully understand your medical options. We always respect your right to make the final decisions!
• Do I have to use advocacy services in order to access any other services such as nursing, shower services or carpentry? NO! You can utilize any of our services independently from one another.

In-Home Shower Services:

• In-home shower assistance with a certified therapist
• All of our professionals are Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) or Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs)
• We use certified therapist for showering assistance in your home. We do not use CNAs. Therapists can assist you with working towards the highest level of independence possible with showering (if that is your goal)
• Our staff of healthcare providers and carpenters work together to ensure safety in your own bathroom to ensure a safe and comfortable shower experience.
• Do I have to utilize other services such as nursing, advocacy or carpentry in order to receive shower services? NO! You can utilize any of our services independently from one another.

In-Home Nursing Consultations:

• In-home private nursing consultations with a trusted and reliable RN
• Nursing consultations are a key component to keeping you out of the hospital.
• Are nursing services required in order to receive other advocacy, shower, or carpentry services? NO! You can utilize any of our services independently from one another.

MD Team Collaboration:

• Our team collaborates with highly qualified physicians to provide expert consultations for complex medical cases, ensuring the highest standard of care for our clients.
• Our team uses MD consultations to help you stay healthy, maintain optimal functioning, and avoid hospitalization
• Do I have to utilize other services such as nursing, advocacy or carpentry in order to receive MD collaboration? NO! You can utilize any of our services independently from one another.

Home Modification and Carpentry Services:

• Home modifications to enhance handicap accessibility in any room of your house
• Services can include any size project
  • changing light bulbs/air filters/etc.
  • installing grab bars and safety fixtures
  • expanding doorways for accessibility
  • building wheelchair ramps
  • remodeling bathrooms for walk-in shower/tub accessibility
• Each project will be quoted by our trusted carpenters based on time and materials required to complete the project. We are transparent with our pricing!
• Do I have to utilize carpentry services? NO! You can utilize any of our services independently from one another.

Does Advocacy Angels have minimum time requirements for in-home services?

No. Unlike many local companies, Advocacy Angels does not require a minimum time commitment from our qualified professionals. This flexibility helps keep costs affordable and personalized, ensuring clients receive exceptional care tailored to their unique needs without having a provider stay in your home longer than necessary.

You can choose any of our services individually or opt for a comprehensive package customized to your specific needs and the level of assistance necessary to help you live safely and comfortably in your home.

Who will assist me with showering if I choose in-home shower support?

We offer showering assistance exclusively through certified therapists, not CNAs. Our therapists help you achieve the highest possible level of independence with showering, tailored to your personal goals.

What carpentry services are available?

• Constructing or repairing wheelchair ramps
• Installing grab bars and handrails
• Fitting chair lifts
• Installing wheelchair-accessible showers and bathtubs
• Performing home repairs or modifications as requested by the client
• Replacing light bulbs, air filters, fixtures, and much more
• Minor repairs or large remodels. If our carpenters are not equipped for your project, we will do the work to find a trusted professional and oversee your project to completion!
